Tonya's take

Here is Tonya's take:

Journaling reads: We have a tradition of always playing the little game of saying "in bed" after reading a fortune cookie fortune. Even the kids do it, though I imagine it doesn't make sense to them yet. :)

Our scrappin' group does that too! Ha!! However, if someone's single or too young to share a 'bed' with someone, then they have to say 'on the toilet.' hee hee...strange, but it gets a lot of laughs ;)

Love that layout!

It's funny the "in bed" thing seems so common but I never heard of it until a year or so ago. I guess I live under a rock! LOL Wonderful layout!

Ok I am so very out of this. What does "staying in bed" mean? Is it code for something? The rocks we live under are very big in Africa...

I'm still livin' under Nicole's rock. I've never heard of this 'tradition' until now. And, it's surprising how many entries used this same journaling idea! I'll have to remember to share this with my family the next time we're 'eating with chopsticks'!

Tonya, your page is fabulous! The picture really steals the show here. Love the way you've stitched the fortunes with a zig zag stitch. And, the yellow background papers are unexpected and make the whole page happy and fun! Great take on the challenge!
