Melissa's challenge 72.

Title: A year of little moments
Journaling:
Nothing big happened in 2009. No new babies in the family, no weddings to go to, no graduations, no funerals to attend. We were able to enjoy being a family of 4 without any major stress. We had a lot of little moments that strengthened our family bonds: a trip to South Haven where we got stuck in a construction-induced traffic jam; trips to the Air Zoo to look at airplanes; trips to Binder Park Zoo to look at animals; visits to the Celery Flats to take a walk down the trail as a family; days and evenings at home watching movies, playing outside in the back yard, and reading books; breakfasts at Theo & Stacy’s on Sunday mornings; birthday parties for Ethan and Cameron; co-oping at Ethan’s pre-school; spending time with friends and family at their homes; swimming in Grandma and Papa’s back yard swimming pool; taking a weekend trip to Chicago to visit friends and Lego Land (which turned out to be not as fun as anticipated); family trips to the grocery store. All of these things individually may not seem like much, but together they make up memories we will forever cherish. Yes. 2009 was the year of little, ordinary moments. I have to say it was the best year yet!

Great job, Melissa ... it's always a good idea to get the Year in Review documented lest we forget ...

I love this layout! I love how you documented the things that matter most to you and your family. I love the 2 black and white photos and the colored photo in the middle. I also love those prima blings. Great job Melissa!
