Helen's challenge 57

I've learnt so many lessons on my parenting journey, but most importantly that each person on this planet is an individual and should be nurtured to develop their own way, rather than be moulded into someone else. I think that's the main lesson for sucessful parenting. Don't dictate to your kids, rather stand back and observe, then hone in on the talents that each individual possesses.

Kids gotta love 'em.

Yes, I realized too that you can't deal with all of them the same way; that some kids are more sensitive. And that some discipline may work with one and not the other. You'll have to see each one as who they are and deal with them as is. :D

So totally true Helen! My mom was like that with us and that is one lesson that I hope to impart on my future kids too.
