Journaling reads: We didn't have fancy backyard pools and slides ... we had sprinklers, irrigation ditches, and yellow sheets of plastic that hooked up to a hose and got slippery when wet. We even had balloons and plastic pails filled with water from the hose. You see, the size of your pool isn't important. It's about being wet and happy with your friends on a hot summer day.
