Take one cat
Day dreaming on his own
Cue one baby brother looking for some action!
That pained expression means he does NOT feel like playing and being bitten right now.
Big brother exits via the bedroom window - I swear he does it just because he knows his brother can't. The cat flap is open and he could exit that way.Intense longing on this little one's face. He tried to get past the curtain but it was just ...too...far...
Then he tried to get there from the ground, but it was ...just ...too... high...
So I took pity on him, stopped laughing and put the camera down to lift him to the window sill. Where he did this very ungainly maneuver to climb through the window.
Then he squeezed back in again to watch his brother from inside while Shadow made the most of his alone time by watching birds and having his morning wash.

Chicken dinner
It probably is no surprize that the worst thing for me about making supper is deciding what to cook. The second worst thing about making supper is enduring the sighs and complaints about what I have cooked.
I got this recipe from Anita. Stuffed chicken breasts. I party froze the meat to make it easier to slice a pocket into. Yes it is colder that way but much easier than if it is floppier.
Place into pocket of chicken and secure with toothpicks. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for about 30 minutes without going to the computer and being side tracked unless you have a new green digital timer to remind you that the folk at home are less fond of "crispy".

Mix feta cheese, crumbled with peppadews and some Italian herb paste.

Add vegies and enjoy.
Middlest was less fond of the peppadews (because they should be burny but they're sweet instead)but otherwise they all enjoyed it and would like me to make it again.
I made an alternate version...but photos of that for another day.

Linking you up.
So Katie, the Scrapbook lady does a summer tour most years. Yesterday she posted about a new to me blogger. Posy gets cosy.
She has the most beautiful photos, pets, flowers, food and everyday life but superb and wonderfully inspiring.
Next is Everyday imagination by Joey. Just because I love this image she posted.
Am thinking that would be so easy to emulate digitally.
