He was buried on September 24, so that is the date I used on the LO's journal card. Journaling says, "I hear often about how 'strong' I am. What people are failing to realize is that dry eyes are not about strength; they are because this loss is too profound for tears."
Title: Unprepared.
Journaling says: When you got accepted to the MD State Police Academy, we figured we could handle being apart Monday through Friday, right? I mean, after all, we'd made it through your year in Iraq. Little did I know to what extend I'd need that bit of preparation...and yet, nothing has really adequately prepared me for this. I guess nothing could.
