The journalling reads
New Year's Eve 2010 ( that should be 2009) was the first year the children tried to stay up. We used up Christmas crackers and found stick on moustaches inside.
We watched everyone else's fireworks.
I set challenges for the whole of last year and need to set up some new ones for this year so please bear with me a little while longer.
The thought for the beginning of this year was:
Out with the old, in with the new.
