Challenge 3...

You know those layouts that you have laying around with no journaling on them? I know I have at least 5 of them. Completely finished, except for one little thing...the journaling! Pull them out. Let's finish one of those pages!!

Follow the same process as we did in Challenge 2 for one of these pages.

Still not satisfied? Post it in the comments and let's all help each other brainstorm for ideas.

I have a crop that I am going to and I will post mine when I get back. I am taking mine with me. :)

Great idea. For me, journaling is the key to why I scrapbook. I have stories to tell. I want my kids to know those stories. Sometimes I'll journal right on the page. Other times I'll hide the journaling on the layout. When I digi scrap I often print out the layout and then add a pocket on the back and put my journaling in that with a pull tab.

I truly do not have any layouts waiting for journaling, only layouts waiting to be done. I am usually journaling led so I start with that, then choose the photos, with some idea of a layout (gotta love Becky's sketches for that) and then scrap from there. I only hide journaling for my teen who believes everything is private.

I did your journaling excersize for this one...I am VERY journaling-challenged especially when it comes to vacation photos. Seems I write the same things every year. This excersized led to a different angle...

I'm not journaling led but I don't have any pages that are waiting to be journaled either. I start with the page & always add the journaling as a last step - sometimes hidden & sometimes on the page. Will check back later for this week's challenge

When journaling I try to cover the 5 W's (who, what, when, where and why) but also my senses. What did I hear or not hear? What caught my eye? Why did I notice "x"? Go through all your senses and you will be surprised what you remember and how that can add colour to your journaling! :0)
