Journaling:
Sherly and I became sisters when she married Mier's brother.
Although totally not blood related, we hit it off instantly.
We share the same sentiments and values in bringing up our children and we will always rely on each other through thick or thin.
We are sisters by chance, sisters by heart. September 2009

my bro:

You are an awesome big brother, Ethan. At least most of the time, anyway. It is very evident how much you love CJ and how important he is to you. You have your moments where you aren’t at your best, as Cameron also has moments where he pushes your buttons, but I love it when you are playing together, giggling, and making each other happy. I really hope that as the two of you get older, you become best friends and rely on one another when you have no one else to turn to. Siblings are truly a gift from God – meant to give you someone to relate to, to befriend, to support you, and to love you when it feels as though no one else does. This is the kind of relationship I hope you and Cameron have. I hope that there will be many more moments when I hear you two giggling. I hope that you continue to be the best big brother you can be. <3 Mom.

One time, Phil cried after being scolded by Daddy for pulling at Nat's hair.
Seeing this, Nat also cried.
"Daddy doesn't want him to pull your hair."
"But he's my baby brother!" and with tears on her eyes, she hugged Phil.
I think my heart just melted on the spot.
