Olivia's challenge 105.

One thing that makes me notice the passage of time is music. Songs have the ability to take me back to the time when I first heard them or special events when they were played. For our trip last weekend I made up a CD of songs that we associated with previous holidays or concerts. It was great to listen to on the journey & reminisce. We couldn't believe it will be 20 years this summer since we went to Belgium together!

So often I find myself glancing at the clock ~ on the wall, in the car, on my cell phone, computer, watch, just to check how much time is left. When do I need to rush out of the door to collect a child, or three? Keep an appointment, maintain my routine yet still be flexible enough to change suddenly if I need to.

'When Andrew & I first started going out together, Simon was a grumpy tubby 10 year old who hated me with a passion and made no attempt to hide it. It seems like 5 minutes ago - and yet look at him now - 6'7" tall, slim, a chef in a fancy hotel and the world at his feet.
