 I loved working with this kit, the colours are so pretty and soft and the elements gorgeous too. Tina always has a great selection of flowers and scatters thrown in.
I asked her for an alpha - something more neutral and she created this stunning blue one that matches so much and is sedate and elegant.

Since my husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in June, a page about our being together for 30 years seemed the obvious choice for this challenge. I found a photo from way back shortly before we were married and paired it with a recent picture. The title of the page is "Together Forever" and the journaling reads: "...together since college, ...together though good time and bad (but mostly good), ...together in 1 apartment and 5 houses, ...together for love, ...together by God's grace"

It's funny how you can tell your age based on your priorities in life. As a child, I wanted to be nice to others. In college, it was all about me. As an adult, it's about teaching my kids.

New month - new challenge

In what ways do you notice the passing of time?

is it looking at old photos and realising how much everyone has changed?

is it when a tv programme comes on and you realise another week as gone by?

Is is marking off days on a calendar?

is it birthdays coming round and realising the years are moving so quickly?

This came to me as I pulled bottles of milk out of the fridge in the supermarket and thought wow is it nearly the middle of February already?

I used to know the exact date when I was a teacher. I'd write the date on the board every day- sometimes more than once. Now the date jumps up me and gives me a shock. Blimey I say as I pull the milk from the fridge. Is it the end of May already? journalling 25.5.11
